Martina won 18 Grand slam singles titles, 31 major women's doubles titles an all- time record, & 10 major mixed double titles. Martina reached the Wimbledon singles final 12 times, including 9 consecutive year from 1982 through 1990, & Martina won the Women's singles title at Wimbledon a record 9 times. Martina and King each won twenty (20) Wimbledon titles, an all-time record. Martina was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Martina parents divorced when Martina only three years old and in 1962 Martina 's mother Jana married Miroslav Navratilova, who became her 1st tennis coach. Martina then took the name of her stepfather.
