ICC announced Match officials and Warm Up Matches schedule


ICC T20 World Cup 2014 will start from 16 March to 06 April 2014 in Bangladesh.ICC announced the match officials and warm up matches schedule for the tournament. The match referees responsibilities throughout the tournament will be shared between David Boo,Ranjan Madugalle, Roshan Mahanama, Javagal Srinath of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees. 

The on field responsibilities will be shared by all 11 of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires, namely: Aleem Dar, Kumar Dharmasena, Steve Davis, Marais Erasmus, Lan Gould, Richard IIIingworth, Richard Kettlrborough, NIgel Long, Bruce Oxenford, Paul Reiffel and Rod Tucker as well as Billy Bowden, Ranmore Martinesz and the S.Ravi of the Emirates International Panel of ICC Umpires.

Pakistan's Aleem Daar is only one in all of them who will responsible for 17 matches in t20 world cup 2014. ICC T20 world cup warm up matches will be started from 12 March while t20 world cup first round qualifying matched will be started from 16 March.

Pakistan will face New Zealand on 17 March while in the first round of T20 world cup Pakistan will play vs India on 21 March and vs Australia on 23 March.

Thirimanne 101 runs helped the Sri Lanka To win the Asia Cup Final 2014

Lahiro Thirimanne scored 101 runs, his third ODI century, and confronted 108 balls in his innings which was bound with 13 fours. Thirimanne is the first Sri Lankan player to post two hundreds in an ODI arrangement against Pakistan. He is the third Sri Lankan to record a hundred in an Asia Cup last. Jayasuriya — 125 versus India at Karachi on July 6, 2008 and Marvan Atapattu – 100 vs Pakistan at Dhaka on June 7, 2000 – were the initial two centurions.  Thirimanne (279) is the top run-getter in the opposition, accompanied by Akmal (253) and Sangakkara (248). Thirimanne and Jayawardene were partnered in an organization of 156.
It is Sri Lanka's most noteworthy third-wicket remained in a final.

Fawad Alam unbeaten 114 runs off 134 vs Sri Lanka highlights


Fawad Alam's unbeaten 114 off 134 balls is his brilliant century in Odis. Alam's innings is the initial hundred by a Pakistani batsman at the Asia Cup last match in Dhaka, overshadowing Saeed Anwar's 82 vs Sri Lanka at Dhaka on June 7, 2000. He is the fourth Pakistan batsman to have recorded a century in a losing cause in the tournament finals. Fawad Alam turned into the third Pakistani left-hand batsman to post a hundred in the finals, joining Saeed Anwar (two) and Salman Butt. Altogether, 10 centuries have been posted for Pakistan in the finals.

Alam has now scored 791 runs at 46.52 from 27 innings. His 188 runs in this Asia Cup are the most astounding he has scored in any series, demolishing the 153 runs he scored against England in 2010. Fawad's ton was just the fourth by a Pakistan batsman in the final of an ODI tournament. The last batsman to hit a hundred in a last for them was Salman Butt, who made an unbeaten 129 against India at the same venue in 2008. The other two such hundreds of years for Pakistan have originated from Saeed Anwar, against India in 1998, and against Sri Lanka in Sharjah in 1993.
